Looking for some ways to save a little extra on your next makeup and product haul? Dupes might be your answer. Sometimes it’s the most amazing thing when you find a good dupe. Am I right?!
I do often tend to splurge more on face makeup products because of my skin concerns. But who am I kidding, if I find a good dupe that works well then I’m all over it. I am a firm believer you don’t need to splurge on everything in your makeup routine if it works for you. I often mix high and low end brands/products so I don’t have to compromise on looks or spend a ton of cash. I also will use the dupes for the everyday where as I will use the high end for going out or special occasions.
Today I’m sharing dupes for some of my favorite products like Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, Beauty Blender, and more!
SETTING SPRAYS

Both the NYX Professional-Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray and the Urban Decay-De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray are both great for oily skin. I do find that the NYX Professional-Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray does leave my face more matte than the the Urban Decay-De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray. For the price point I am in totally love. I used the Urban Decay-De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray for so long and I am happy that I tried out the NYX! It if you aren’t already using it.

I love, love both of these!! They are both full coverage and come in a range of shades which is awesome! After using the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define, I definitely feel like it is a on par with the Tarte. SOOO, I’m just going to say it’s been my go to the last 6 months. For half the price it is something you can’t pass up.
MASCARA

So my thoughts…The LOREAL is JUST as GOOD if NOT BETTER than the TOO FACED BTS. I recently did a blog comparing the too so if you want to see all my thoughts check it out here. Briefly synapsis: They are both similar formulas, don’t flake and look amazing. However, I did notice two differences. 1. I do feel like the BTS dries a little to quick which can get clumpy if you aren’t quick. 2. I feel like the BTS does go on a little thicker. Really, I’m shocked at how much I like the L’Oreal. I am also loving the quality for the price point, I mean $8 dollars vs. $23. It’s a winner for me!!
BEAUTY BLENDERS

I remember when the Beauty Blender first came out! It was what all the makeup lovers were using. I was still learning to master the foundation brush lol. It was an innovative little sponge and pricey at that! I didn’t end up getting one till a few years later, but I quickly understood what everyone loved. It’s unique shape and material ensures makeup goes on streak-free with minimum product waste. The material is activated by water, allowing it to grow twice its size so it’s great and not absorbing the actual product. What I really like about the Beauty Blender is that is can be used with all kinds of foundations, powders, and any other complexion product. The sponge is also made using non-toxic, water-soluble dyes. So that is a plus!
Soo with all that goodness being said, recently I came across these Amazon Beauty Blender Dupes and MIND BLOWN!! For $9 you get five amazing sponges. After trying it I was sold. In my opinion, I think they are better than the beauty blender because they absorb more water allowing for the sponge to be more buoyant on your skin. These sponges can also be used for all kinds of cosmetics, can use wet or dry, and blends makeup for a perfect application. If you haven’t tried these ones, please do!!
