The Q-Moisturizing Routine

It’s true Quarantine (Q)  has us all washing our hands way more that we would like. Which can mean only one thing, dry-cracked skin.  Even before Q, my hands were always dry. So I decided to take this time to take my hand moisturizing seriously.

What I’m using to keep my hands nice and hydrated: Okeeffe’s Working hands and Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask.

Why Okeeffe’s….it is a product that has been around for some time, with minimal ingredients, and is for matured dry/cracked hands.  It also helps to maintain moisture levels by building a barrier on the skins surface. Definitely something worth trying, right? I use this product 2-3 times a day, but when I apply I use only a thin layer so that I can rub the product in all the way.

I have a confession the Jet Lag mask is actually a ultra hydrating  face mask to help combat dullness, dryness, and uneven skin tone. I have used the mask a handful of times as intended during the winter months, but since I have very oily/acne prone skin  it wasn’t something I turned to on a weekly basis.  I decided that this would be a perfect product for a hand mask. Ya’ll it is is so good and creamy.  I can see what all the rave is about even though I use it for my hands. I absolutely love it! I use this 2-3 times a week right before bed to give my hands that added moisture and youthful appearance.

If you are looking for ways to help keep those hands hydrated during Q then I highly suggest giving these two products a try.
